WE CAN'T KEEP TURNING WOMEN AND CHILDREN AWAY. Without a larger shelter, we can only interrupt the cycle of violence; we can do little to break it.

CRUISE FOR CHANGE

Join us on September 25 from 6:30-10:00 PM for a Cruise For Change, an evening of fun to benefit United Family Services in the Mooresville Lake Norman community.

Tickets include an evening boat ride on beautiful Lake Norman, dancing, heavy hors d’oeuvres, one-hour open bar and a wonderful selection of silent auction items to bid on throughout the evening. Attire is dressy casual. Purchase your tickets today!

PARTY WITH PURPOSE on Saturday, August 28. Enjoy an evening of classic rock and roll played by the Underground Detour Band while watching the Panthers preseason game against the Tennessee Titans on the big screen. All proceeds benefit victims of domestic violence through United Family Services' Shelter for Battered Women.

United Family Services' Shelter for Battered Women gratefully accepts donations of items found on our wish list. View our 2010 wish list to make a difference in the lives of women and children in our community.

United Family Services offers expanded mortgage counseling services for those at-risk of foreclosure.

We are members of United Way of Central Carolinas, Inc. and are accredited by the Council on Accreditation. UFS programs are funded in part by the National Alliance for Children.
